Leslie Grimes

ESS Lead Teacher

Leslie has a B.A in History with a Minor in Psychology and an M.A. in History, with a concentration in European History (specializing in Crime and Gender in Early Modern Britain) from Georgia State University. She has worked in the school setting for four years.

Prior to coming to ANCS, she was a writing consultant at Georgia State University where she collaborated with professors to provide assistance to students to improve their skills in researching, academic writing, and editing. She also worked at several local food establishments, including Moe’s & Joe’s and Euclid Avenue Yacht Club.

Leslie was born and raised in Michigan but has been a resident of Atlanta since 2004. She has practiced yoga for over 10 years. She spends most of her time in the Fall watching football, and the Spring and Summer hiking, camping, and backpacking.
