Lindy Settevendemie
MTSS/504 Coordinator
Lindy Settevendemie re-joined the ANCS faculty in 2021 and is now the elementary campus 504 Coordinator and the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Coordinator, which allows her to assist with early, targeted interventions that support whole child development. She also develops social and emotional learning (SEL) materials in alignment with ANCS’s guiding principles for teachers’ use in K-5 classrooms. “Ms. Sette” has been an educator for almost 2 decades; she taught at ANCS’s Middle Campus from 2011-2016 and high school in Pittsboro, North Carolina from 2006-2010. Before returning to ANCS, Ms. Settevendemie was the Project Coordinator for Social, Emotional, and Ethical (SEE) Learning at Emory University’s Compassion Center. She holds a BA in English from the University of Georgia, MAT in English Education from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Teacher Support Specialist certificate from Georgia State University.
In her free time, Ms. Settevendemie enjoys consulting about social-emotional learning and development, volunteering, traveling, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family, including her husband Randy, dog Pickle and cat Olive. As a white educator, she is committed to anti-racism work in her personal and professional life. She is thrilled to be part of the ANCS community because it is vibrant, dedicated, reflective, and loving.
