Manuel Chavez

6th/7th Grade Individual & Societies Teacher

Manuel holds a B.A. in Cognitive Neuroscience & Evolutionary Psychology from Harvard University. He has been teaching and working in school settings for two years and is now entering his third year. Prior to joining ANCS in 2023, Manuel was a Senior Counselor at the Phillips Brooks House Association’s Roxbury Youth Initiative, where he provided academic instruction and summer recreation for low-income families, primarily from public housing developments in Roxbury, MA. He also has experience as a visual artist, specializing in videos and portrait photography.

Manuel enjoys music, art, working out, traveling, and spending time with his partner, family, friends, and his dog, Frooty.
