Natalie Caudle
ESS Department Chair
Natalie graduated in 2000 from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Psychology and Biology, then earned an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State in 2002. She did her student teaching and then started my teaching career at Hamilton Holmes E.S. in East Point, GA.
Natalie is a native of San Antonio, Texas but has lived in Colorado, Arizona, Houston, Austin, Atlanta, and Seattle! She began her teaching career in a Kindergarten classroom in Atlanta, then took a year off after her first daughter was born before relocating to Seattle, WA. There she taught Pre-K for a few years. Her family moved back to Atlanta just after her second daughter was born, and she took another year off. While her girls were little, she taught in a private Pre-K setting, during which time she earned her Special Education certification. She returned to public school teacher life in 2014, this time in upper grades and working in Exceptional Education in Fulton County. She loved it, but not the commute! She found her happy medium working at Sagamore Hills E.S. (Dekalb) from 2015 until 2021, working in every single grade, occasionally 3 at a time! The pandemic and closures made her realize it was time to expand beyond her neighborhood and beyond focusing on standardized testing as a way of teaching. Discovering ANCS was the perfect fit at the right time!
