Nathan Bubes

7th/8th Grade Visual Arts Teacher
 

Nathan Bubes has been an educator at ANCS since 2009. Previously he has been an Art Instructor for various summer camps in Atlanta and a Production Manager for two mural and faux finishing companies. He also taught graphic design at the South West Fulton Arts Council and was a graphic designer/print specialist for BlackSheep Printing. 

Mr. Bubes describes the best part of working at ANCS as being the staff, the principal, and “the trust and respect between the two!”

Mr. Bubes is from Washington, D.C. He is married and is the father of two sons and one daughter. He loves skateboarding. A favorite quote of Mr. Bubes is “Chance favors the prepared mind.”

Mr. Bubes has a degree in Studio Art with a focus on Africana Studies and Philosophy from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He also graduated from the Suitland Center for the Arts and was the recipient of the Maryland Distinguished Scholar in Art Award in 1994.
