Nicole King

Assistant Principal, Elementary Campus

Nicole King re-joined the ANCS faculty in 2017 as a 1st Grade Teacher. Ms. King received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Agnes Scott College (in 2005) and Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Massachusetts Lowell (in 2012).

Ms. King is very passionate about curriculum development and implementation (specifically in reading and writing), classroom management and work surrounding all areas of diversity.

Prior to coming to ANCS, Ms. King was a Kindergarten Teacher at Trinity School in Atlanta, Georgia for 5 years (2012-1017), a Kindergarten Teacher at Billingsville Elementary School in Charlotte, North Carolina for 3 years (2009-2012), and a 1st Grade Teacher at Neighborhood Charter School (2006-2009).

Nicole King enjoys spending time with her family, taking little getaways (especially to the beach) and decorating and planning family events and celebrations. Christmas and birthdays are her favorite things to celebrate! …And she LOVES her Trinidadian and Guyanese culture. Lastly, she enjoys and cannot live without…the art of dance.
