Shamier Gantt

Kindergarten Teacher

Shamier Gantt joined ANCS in 2023 as a Learning Lab Associate Teacher. She brings more than a decade of experience supporting young learners and is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop a love of learning, and reach their full potential.

Ms. Gantt earned a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies from Clark Atlanta University and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Capella University. Her background in early childhood education and instructional design has equipped her with a strong foundation for meeting the diverse needs of students and creating engaging learning experiences.

Prior to joining ANCS, Ms. Gantt worked at Sheltering Arms Educare, where she served as a Lead Pre-K Teacher and STEM Coordinator. In those roles, she developed innovative, hands-on learning opportunities that fostered curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills in young learners.

Outside of school, Ms. Gantt enjoys trying new recipes, exploring new teaching strategies, and traveling to new cities and countries. She loves discovering new places and experiences and is always looking for fresh ideas to bring back to the classroom.
