Susan Taylor
Learning Lab Specialist
Born in Dallas, Texas, Susan Taylor also spent parts of her childhood in London, England and on an Arabian Horse Farm in Oklahoma.
Ms. Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of South Carolina. During college, Ms. Taylor traveled, studied, and lived in Mexico and Europe. In 1997 she completed a Masters in Public Health with an emphasis in Maternal and Child Health. After having her own children, Ms. Taylor studied midwifery, holistic prenatal care and childbirth, and served as the President of South Carolinians for Midwifery for several years. In addition, she home-schooled her own children until moving to Toronto, Ontario, where they attended a small neighborhood school.
Ms. Taylor began teaching at the Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School in 2004. For her, the best part of working at ANCS is the small, family-like community. Committed to intown living and neighborhood schools, Ms. Taylor and her family live in Ormewood Park.
