Farm Workdays

Thank you so much for your interest in joining a Saturday workday on the ANCS school farm!  We’ll be working 9:00am-11:00am, but come when you can and stay ’til you can. RSVP here. ANCS will supply all necessary tools, materials, and work gloves (including sunscreen and bug spray), but please remember to bring and/or wear:

• Full water bottle and a snack
• Close-toed shoes
• Hat or sunglasses
• Consider long pants and/or sleeves for bug and sun protection (optional)
• Epi pen if anyone in your party has plant or insect allergies

Also, please note:

• Safety and peace are our top priorities on the farm, so please remember we’ll be gathering and active on a working farm. All our youngest students–and any younger siblings–must be supervised at all times by their family. Thanks for your help with this!
• The location of each workday will rotate between Elementary Campus and Middle Campus farm sites! Be sure to check the ANCS calendar for workday location.
• Tasks will vary each month and season, but can include planting, tending, weeding, mulching, watering, seed saving, trellising, turning compost, etc.
