Meeghan Fortson

Co-President

The 2022-2023 school year is Meeghan’s second year on the PTCA board and seventh year at ANCS. Her children are in 4th and 6th grades. Prior to joining the PTCA Board, she served on the ANCS Governing Board for 4 years where she chaired the Fund Development Committee and served as Secretary. During her first year on the PTCA board, she oversaw membership. This year, she is excited to be serving as PTCA Co-President with Jenny Gunn.

Meeghan believes that volunteering is a great way to stay connected with ANCS and know more about what is happening in the day to day life of the school. She loves being able to support the teachers and staff and build connections with other families. She values the relationships she has made through her volunteer roles so far and looks forward to making more in the future. According to Meeghan, “A strong community is key to the success of ANCS and what makes it such a special place. The PTCA plays a significant role in fostering this community at the school and I am honored to be a part of it.”

Meeghan and her family have lived in Ormewood Park for over 10 years. Her professional background is in educational fundraising. She also volunteers at her church in East Atlanta and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
