Kickball Tournament

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH
MAYNARD JACKSON HIGH SCHOOL

ACTION ITEMS:

  • Please print and complete this waiver for every player before you arrive at check-in on Sunday. Parents need to sign for minors. This will help move everyone through check-in quickly. 

  • We still need a few volunteers so please spread the word…You can sign up to volunteer here.

WHAT TO EXPECT UPON ARRIVAL:
  • Team Captains will receive a clip board with the tournament schedule, rules and field assignments. 

  • Our check-in volunteers will collect all of the signed waivers.

  • There will be a photo waiver that you can sign at check-in if you do NOT want you or your child’s picture posted via ANCS digital/social media channels after the event.

  • Concessions – we will have snacks, drinks and pizza by the slice for sale (while supplies last)! All proceeds go to the PTCA!

  • Our School Store will be onsite and open for business!! This is where you can get all your school spirit gear and tickets to use at our concessions stand. Cash and credit accepted.

  • Game Zone – what to do when you are not playing? Cheer on the other teams or visit our game zone where we will have Cornhole, oversized Jenga and Connect Four

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Although we will have concessions, feel free to bring your own coolers, snacks, and drinks. REMEMBER it is going to be hot! We will have water stations all over the fields so bring your refillable water bottles and STAY HYDRATED! NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED!

  • Sunscreen, camp chairs, tents/canopies, and blankets are encouraged. We will have a FAN ZONE near the fields where you can cheer on your teams and friends. Music will be playing so get ready for a fun atmosphere!!

  • We will have First Aid supplies at check-in but remember you play at your own risk so please come prepared! You may want to bring extra ice-packs, bandages or supplies for your team. Be sure to be there by 12:30 p.m. for the pre-game warm up and encourage your team to participate.  This will help prevent any injuries on the field! We will have some volunteer certified health professionals onsite in case we need a little extra first aid support.

REMINDERS:

  • Everyone is welcome!! You do not need to be playing and can just come to cheer on your ANCS family!

  • No dogs allowed and no strollers or bikes on the track.  

  • Parking? Walk or bike if possible. If driving, park in MJHS’s parking lot or across the street in the Kroger parking lot (not the lot in between The Beverly and Great Clips)

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY:

  • 12:00 pm – Team Check-in Opens

  • 12:30 pm – Team Warm-Ups by Athlete’s Potential

  • 12:45 pm – Tournament Play

  • 1:00pm Concessions and School Store Open

  • 4:30pm – Closing Ceremonies and Clean-up
