REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
WAREWASHING/CHEMICAL VENDOR

I. OVERVIEW
Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School is requesting proposals for warewashing/chemical vendors for a five year term to begin SY 2024-25. The vendor will handle all chemical sales involving the Nutrition team use, warewashing machine leasing for both campuses and maintenance throughout the school year and work directly with the Nutrition team Culinary Director and Assistant Culinary director.
Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School is composed of 2 campuses, serving 630 students in total.
Elementary Campus: 688 Grant Street, Atlanta, GA, 30315, Grades K-5
Middle campus: 820 Essie Avenue, Atlanta, GA, 30316, Grades 6-8
Approximately 130 staff members throughout both campuses
II. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Interested organizations should indicate their interest in submitting a proposal to both David Bradley at dbradley@atlncs.org & Robert Lupo at rlupo@atlncs.org by June 7, 2024.
III. FIRM REQUIREMENTS
Firm will obtain and maintain all required inspections, maintenance records, certifications, and permits per legal requirements.
IV. SERVICE AND RATE GUARANTEES
Vendor will provide a base price lease for each campus chemical warewashing machine, including what charges are included in the lease. For instance, if there is a charge for each rack run at any threshold, or if associated chemicals are included, etc., vendor must include this information with the bid.
Vendor will provide complete price list for all chemicals used in ANCS kitchens, including:
- Detergent for hand-wash items in 3 compartment sink
- Quat sanitizer for 3 compartment sink
- Floor Cleaner
- Foaming hand soap and dispenser
- Degreaser (Middle Campus only)
Vendor may include price quotes for additional chemicals or products, but bid will be determined on above. ANCS will evaluate additional chemicals on a case-by-case basis with ANCS operational staff.
Any additional charges such as rack overage charges, maintenance outside of scope of work etc. will be made clear in contract.
V. AWARD OF CONTRACT
Any contracts awarded pursuant to the RFP will be awarded based on the bids or offers which are responsive to the RFP and are most advantageous to ANCS with respect to price, quality, confidence to complete the work in a safe manner, and other factors that ANCS may consider.
ANCS reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received as a result of this RFP.
