Conscious Discipline Parent & Caregiver Workshop
Tuesday, November 1; 5:30pm-7:00pm
Elementary Campus Auditorium
Conscious Discipline is a cornerstone of our school culture. It is a psychology-based platform for healthy social-emotional development. It is an approach to discipline that transforms everyday scenarios into teachable moments, equipping children with the skills needed to manage themselves and resolve conflict.
This workshop is a school-wide event for parents/caregivers with students in grades kindergarten through 8th. Nicole Mercer, a professional Conscious Discipline consultant, will lead us in this fun and informative workshop. You will leave with a better understanding of what social-emotional learning looks like at Neighborhood Charter, and maybe with some ideas about strategies you can use at home.
>>Please complete this form if you plan on attending the workshop.<<
Our school culinary team will be serving dinner, and free childcare is available for children ages 4 and up. Childcare slots are limited to 60 children. The sign up for childcare is also included in the form.
