Meet Dr. Woody-Wideman!

Greetings School Family!

I’m Dr. NaTasha Woody-Wideman, a proud Atlanta native and a product of Atlanta Public Schools. You might say I’m one of the last true “Georgia Peaches,” with a career dedicated to supporting schools and students, especially those considered “at risk.” I currently serve as the Director of School Services and Community Outreach at ANCS. Raised as the only daughter by a single mother, I’ve always seen myself as the “rose that grew from concrete.”

My journey in education has been diverse—I’ve taught middle and high school English, worked as an Instructional Coach, and served as an Assistant Principal. I earned my doctorate in Educational Leadership from Clark Atlanta University in 2013, and my academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Clark Atlanta University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia State University.

Community service is a cornerstone of my life, reflected in my active roles with the Order of the Eastern Star and the National Coalition for 100 Black Women.

On the personal side, I’m a wife and a mother and bonus mom to five wonderful children, including a son serving in the US Army and a lively 4th grader. I’m also the proud mom of two fur babies, Teddy and Cinnamon.

I look forward to working together to support and uplift our school community!

Warm regards,

Dr. NaTasha Woody-Wideman
