Ada Ari Inspires Diversity Through Storytelling

Yesterday at our elementary campus, we hosted Ada Ari, a passionate children’s book author dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in literature. Ada shared her journey of retelling beloved African folktales through beautifully illustrated picture books. Growing up in Nigeria, Ada cherished these stories and sought to preserve them for her children. During the visit, Ada captivated our students with enchanting tales that teach valuable moral lessons while fostering appreciation for African culture. We’re grateful for Ada’s inspiring work in bringing the magic of storytelling and the richness of African heritage to ANCS!
